He Wishes for the Cloths of Heaven

Had I the heavens' embroidered cloths, 
Enwrought with golden and silver light, 
The blue and the dim and the dark cloths 
Of night and light and the half-light, 
I would spread the cloths under your feet: 
But I, being poor, have only my dreams; 
I have spread my dreams under your feet; 
Tread softly because you tread on my dreams.

若我有天上的錦緞， 

織著或金黃或銀白的光線， 

摻雜湛藍,灰暗，

漆黑的綢緞， 

象徵日夜與朝暮： 

我會將其鋪在你腳下

可是我,一貧如洗； 

只有夢想相伴,

於是我把夢想鋪在你腳下,

請輕輕的踏,

因我的夢想就在你的腳下。

葉慈曾說過,教育不是注滿一桶水,而是點燃一把火

Education is not the filling of a pail

but the lighting of a fair.

然而宗教信仰亦是教學相長裡的正向引導,是ㄧ種啟發,是ㄧ座燈塔,

燃起心靈的光明 ,

燃起生命的熱情,

那是人人本具的愛與服務!

無量大愛之光,平等一如,

亦是慈悲無我的真諦!

信仰鋪在你我的腳下,

如履薄冰般,請輕輕的走過,

行走著光明踏實,安心自在!
